A balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, a morning at leisure. One of the best things about traveling is that you have time, time to enjoy, that you are prepared to get the best out of every day and often gain perspective. We are fascinated even more easily and take the time to familiarize ourselves with a culture, food, history, the locals, etc.

Here at home, it all ends very easily, just getting on with everyday life. We shut down our senses, fill our heads with everything we need to remember, we worry, we are busy and forget the present. That is why I have painted this painting, which is full of holiday idyll, it should remind us how we can create the same attitude in everyday life as we have when we are away and experience different corners of the world.
