I combine craftsmanship and beauty in my beaded flowers, which are inspired by the traditional “French beading” technique from the 18th century. I make each flower with Japanese beads, copper wire and embroidery thread, always focusing on the small details of nature. I develop my own patterns and some of my largest projects have taken up to 40 hours to complete. My beaded flowers are a sustainable alternative to fresh flowers, as they last for many years and do not need to be replaced.
